What really annoys me today is waiting. We are waiting, ideas formed over ten years about what we would do with our own theatre when we got it are spilling over, full of potential energy. It feels a little bit like a spaceship heading towards a black hole. As you approach the infinite mass time slows down. We are closer than we have ever been to walking through the front door and starting work on setting up the Tea House but each day that we get closer to having the keys in our hands the longer it seems to take. Our fabulously efficient and professional lawyer is working towards that date (can’t say the same about the other side) and we are essentially sitting on our hands, the ideas and projects ready to go, crouched like Linford Christie waiting the eternal second for the “B of the Bang”.
Still we must Hold fast and prepare for warp speed when the time comes to “engage”.
